Winthrop is delighted to announce a series of Afternoon Tea events being held in the run up to Christmas.
Our Festive Afternoon Teas have always been hugely popular and this year we’ll be hosting them in the comfort and Covid safe environment of the Wickersley Community Centre. We do understand that there is still a degree of nervousness about indoor events which is why we are holding these events in this more spacious venue where social distancing between tables can be assured and where every attention has been given to assuring the safety of our guests – including our new equipment to monitor air quality.”
We’re all delighted to be ‘back in the saddle’ and able to host our renowned Festive Afternoon Tea events which were so missed last year! After the wash out of Christmas last year we know everyone will want to make this Christmas extra special and we hope our Afternoon Tea events with fun and a festive twist will do just that!
Our programme is as follows:-
Wednesday 10th November with a Christmas Flowers Demonstration – followed by an Afternoon Tea;
Saturday 13th November there will be a Christmas Confectionary Demonstration followed by Afternoon Tea;
Wednesday 24th November – Festive Afternoon Tea;
Wednesday 8th December – Festive Afternoon Tea;
Saturday 11th December – Festive Afternoon Tea;
Saturday 18th December – Festive Afternoon Tea;
All events are in the afternoon at 2.15pm for 2.30pm, cost £12.50 per person and must be pre-booked. Full details available at Winthrop Gardens where bookings should be made.
