Living With Dementia?
Organised, funded and supported by Winthrop volunteers our Memory Café is especially for people living with dementia and their carers living in Wickersley and the surrounding area.
Our Café's are held on the first and third Friday of each month between 12 noon and 2pm
We always serve tea, coffee and sandwiches, savouries and lovely cakes, many made by our volunteers.
There is a different theme at each Cafe but the Warmest Winthrop Welcome every time you come. Our guest really enjoy quizzes, singing, the 'free' raffle and there's always lots of talking and laughter. We also enjoy introducing our guests to our lovely gardens.
Our Cafe's are very popular and well attended so we do ask people to reserve a place and, if one is not available, to join our short waiting list.
While there is no charge to attend all our guests generally leave a donation.
