Now we are talking about serious coincidences!!
This lovely young woman was down at Winthrop this afternoon with her Grandad, who celebrated his 98th birthday yesterday. We were just putting the finishing touches to our Poppy Wall and we had some WW1 music playing. ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’ was one of the songs and she said …. ‘My husbands Grandads Uncle wrote that!’ The man concerned was Jack Judge and, as he owed money to one Henry James aka Harry Williams, cited him as the co- composer in lieu of the debt!
What a story and what an amazing coincidence!!
